Race’n’Raise – Logicor raced again for young people

June 24, 2024 |

24th June 2024: Logicor, a leading owner, developer, and manager of European logistics properties, in collaboration with its business partners participating in the third edition of the "Race'n'Raise" charity cycling race, raising a significant amount of PLN 32,000. The 300 km route, set in the picturesque Tuchola Forest in northern Poland, was conquered by our collective determination. The funds collected will be channeled to the Horizons Scholarship Program of the EFC Foundation, a cause we all champion.

The race was not just about covering kilometers, but about making a tangible difference in the lives of young people. For each kilometer covered by a single participant, Logicor pledged to donate PLN 5 to the Horizons Scholarship Program implemented by the EFC Foundation. The participation in this event has directly contributed to the future of these aspiring individuals.

Roman Czernecki Educational Foundation, through the Horizons program, supports young people from small towns with aspirations who would find it challenging to achieve them without support, including financial support. The scholarship is awarded for the entire period of secondary school education. The Foundation financially supports the development of interests and passions, including financing language school studies and certificate exams.

“Logicor's Race'n'Raise initiative is an excellent example of meaningful cooperation between the private sector and NGOs. It is an expression of business responsibility for the common good. For the second year in a row, the money collected by Logicor will help provide our students with scholarships that will enable their development. Thank you for this example and your trust on behalf of the Foundation and the scholarship holders of the Horizons scholarship program.”

Igor Czernecki

President of the Management Board of the EFC Foundation, said:

“I am delighted that our Race'n'Raise charity initiative has become a permanent fixture in our calendar and that of our business partners. For another year in a row, we collected a significant amount of money to support young people and allow them to realize their ambitions. This event shows how effectively one can combine business with pleasure - a business sports event and charity activities.”
